The information we collect and/or recieve
In the course of operating the Website and/or interacting with you, Potluck will collect (and/or receive) the following types of information. You authorize us to collect and/or receive such information.
When you sign up to become a Registered User, you will be required to provide us with personal information about yourself, such as your full name, email address, birth date and other contact information. If you contact us or RSVP to an Event, you will need to provide your full name and email address. Registered Users may also provide identifiable information in the course of using the Website such as mobile phone number. All information we collect and/or receive under this section is collectively called “Personal Information.” We do not collect any personal information from Visitors or Registered Users unless they provide such information voluntarily.
In addition to the Personal Information, we may automatically collect or receive additional information regarding you and your use of our Website, your interactions with us and our advertising, as well as information regarding your computer or other devices used to access our Website (collectively, the “Other Information”). Such Other Information may include:

If you do not want Potluck to deploy cookies in your browser, you can opt out by setting your browser to reject cookies. If you choose to disable cookies in your browser, you can still use the Website, although your ability to use some of the features maybe affected.
The purpose of us using this software is to understand our website traffic in the most privacy-friendly way possible so that we can continually improve our website and business. The lawful basis as per the GDPR is "f); where our legitimate interests are to improve our website and business continually." As per the explanation, no personal data is stored over time.
We may also collect additional information that you voluntarily provide to us(either directly or via our social media pages), such as your gender, preferences, or other information that does not identify you personally.

Potluck does not allow for Third-Party Advertising Companies to access any data anywhere on our platform, nor do we share or sell your data with 3rd party advertising companies. Potluck is a member-based company, which allows us to ensure, to the best of our abilities, the privacy and security of your data.
How the Information is Used and Shared
We use the Personal Information and the Other Information (collectively, the “Information”) to provide our services; to administer our rewards and promotional programs; to maintain and improve our Website and services to you; to solicit your feedback; and to inform you about our products and services and those of our third-party marketing partners.
We may also use and/or share Information as described below.
Potluck will access, use, and share the Information as required to provide services or support to you in connection with your use of the Website.
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples may include providing technical assistance, order fulfillment, customer service, payment processing and marketing assistance. These other companies will have access to the Information only as necessary to perform their functions and to the extent permitted by law.
In an ongoing effort to better understand our users, and our products and services, we may analyze Information in aggregate form in order to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Website and/or our products and services. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. Accessing and Modifying Information and Communication Preferences
If you have provided us any Personal Information, you may access, remove, review, and/or make changes to the same by contacting us as set forth below. In addition, you may manage your receipt of marketing and non-transactional communications by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link located on the bottom of any Potluck marketing email. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to process such requests in a timely manner. You should be aware, however, that it is not always possible to completely remove or modify information in our subscription databases. You cannot opt out of receiving transactional emails related to the Website (e.g., requests for support, event notifications).
How We Protect Your Information
We take commercially reasonable steps to protect the Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Please understand, however, that no security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of our databases or the databases of the third parties with which we may share such Information, nor can we guarantee that the Information you supply will not be intercepted while being transmitted over the Internet. In particular, email sent to us may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via email.
Important Notices to Non-U.S. Residents
The Website and its servers are operated in the United States. Please be aware that your Information, including your Personal Information, may be transferred to, processed, maintained, and used on computers, servers, and systems located outside of your state, province, or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to use the Website, you hereby irrevocably and unconditionally consent to such transfer, processing, and use in the United States.
The Website is not directed to children under the age of 13. Potluck adheres to the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and will not knowingly collect Personal Information from any child under the age of 13. We ask that minors (under the age of 13) not submit any Personal Information to us. If you are under the age of 13, you may use the Website only with the consent of your parent or guardian.
If a child under the age of 13 has provided us with Personal Information, a parent or guardian of that child may contact us and request that such information be deleted from our records.
Potluck also requires birth date for all paying members to ensure we are adhering to US alcohol laws. Minors under the age of 21 will not be able to interact with the Alcohol tag when organizing an event in Potluck’s platform, and Minors under the age of 21 will not be able to interact with any items marked as Alcohol in any Event Page to an event they have RSVP’d within the Potluck platform. For this reason, birth dates can only be updated upon specific request to email@example.com, and age verification will only be required if requesting a birth date update after initial registration. All Paying Members and their guests agree that the birth date they give upon registering to engage with Potluck as a Registered User or Visitor is their true and provable birth date. Potluck is not responsible for anyone under the age of 21 falsifying their birth date and engaging with alcohol items within the Potluck platform. Any person under the age of 21 found to have falsified their birth date and engaged with the Alcohol tag in any way will have their Potluck Membership revoked immediately until such date they turn 21 years of age.
